Hello,
My name is Mrs. Green. I have been a teacher for 23 years. I've taught preschool, 4th grade, and kindergarten! I started teaching in the Middleboro Public School system in 2004 and have been teaching kindergarten at the Memorial Early Childhood Center for 12 years. This year I have a new role as the school's Literacy and Intervention Specialist. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Bridgewater State University and later became certified in Early Childhood Education. In 2016 I went back to school to the American International College and earned a Master's Degree in Reading. I also hold a Reading Specialist certification. I love reading and consider myself a life-long learner. I enjoy sharing what I've learned with my students and their families. I have been married to my husband for 36 years and we have 3 sons. All three of our sons are graduates of Middleboro High School and went on to earn Bachelor's degrees from Massachusetts' state universities. Our oldest earned his Masters degree from the Boston Conservatory. A few years ago he married his high school sweetheart, who is now a high school English teacher in Billerica, MA. I love to travel and have had the pleasure of visiting many interesting places in this great country and beyond. Many places we've visited include ball parks to watch my favorite baseball team, the Boston Red Sox, play. I also love reading, solving puzzles, camping, cruising, and going to amusement parks that have big roller coasters that I can ride. I can't wait to meet all my new students and their families! It's going to be a great year! |
